Review: Keliwa Silicone Muffin & Cupcake Baking Pan

**Disclosure: I received this product for a discount in exchange for a honest and unbiased review.**

Do you use silicone bakeware?  I just could not wrap my head around using that type of item.  It took me long enough to actually move away from fabric potholders and start using silicone.  But to put my food in it?

Well I finally made the move when I was given the opportunity to review Keliwa Silicone Muffin & Cupcake Baking Pan.  Of course, in my fear, I limited myself.  I used my baking pan to make cute cinnamon roll muffins.  Easy peasy to cut up some cinnamon rolls and then fit them into the pan.  Used the heat and time that was on the package.  Below is my pre-baking picture.

And when my timer went off, I was so pleased.  I found these cinnamon roll muffins waiting for me in the oven.  Evenly baked.  Fully baked all the way through.  They popped right out of the pan without needing any baking cups, flour, or cooking oil.

After removing them, I was able to put them on a plate and drizzle the icing on them.  Then I threw the pan into the dishwasher.  Again, another perk of this muffin pan.

So, I cannot wait to try this with cupcakes or cornbread.  With Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner, this is going to work out perfectly.

Overall the Keliwa Silicone Muffin & Cupcake Baking Pan appears to be made well.  It is the same size as a traditional metal pan, but has some great perks like the color, the even heating, nonstick, and easy to clean.  I am so happy I have this pan a try and I am looking forward to trying out some other silicone bakeware.

Review: Keeva Deep Conditioning 5-in-1 Hair Mask

**Disclosure: I received this product for a discount in exchange for a honest and unbiased review.**

My hair has had it.  I have dry and worn out hair that is desperate need of some salon TLC.  But right now I am having to be in twenty places at once, and taking the time for me is not a priority.

In the mean time, I will do what I can by using products that can make me feel and look better in the sanctity of my own home.  So I gave #Keeva deep conditioning mask a try to see if it could help me out.

I will say that the down side to this, as with alls masks, is the lack of instructions.  Do you want me to wet my hair first and then sit out of the shower 20 minutes to let it work its magic? Do you want me to apply it to dry hair and then rinse out? How does shampoo usage apply to this product - before? After?  I am not a beauty pro so these are types of information I need to use a product effectively.

So did the wet hair, put on and sit out method.  I rinsed. Just to let you know - I prefer rinsing with cold or cooler water versus the warm they recommend. And I observed my results.  I have to say it works.  My hair felt great right after and my wavy hair was super easy to comb out while wet, and the tangles were manageable.  Once dry, my hair felt good afterwards.  My frizz was well controlled, it was smooth, and my hair had a great scent to it. I did not have to use my extra hair oils once styled to keep the frizz away, which is super nice.

I  am curious what my hair would be like if I used warm water now. I don't like to overuse masks out of fear of oily or weighed down hair, so I will give it another shot soon.  I would recommend always using a strong cleansing shampoo before a mask to ensure you don't end up with heavy hair.

I think I need a few more times to determine if I love the Keeva Deep Conditioning Hair Mask or if this is a good go-to for periodic TLC, but in the mean time, it definitely helps give my hair some love without the cost or time it takes to get it deep conditioned at the salon.

Still learning...

So I am hoping to get into doing more reviews.  I personally seek out store or website reviews on products when making important purchases. I want to know the benefits or positives to a product, the truth about the downsides and negatives, and I want to make sure my hard earned money is going to quality products that my family and friends will enjoy.  Now I want to make sure I can offer the same type of guidance and information to help others when they need to make those purchases as well.

I was a part of a few groups, however, Amazon's recent changes have limited review opportunities.  So if you are interested in an honest review, and have items that you would like for me to consider, please feel free in contacting me. I would love to help you out and boost my own knowledge of blogging reviews, among other types of blog posts.

I am a full time teacher, mom, and wife.  I try to keep up with everything ranging from children's toys and products like personal care, strollers and seats, and clothes, to pet food and toys. I also work hard to make sure husband is dressed well for work and up to date on technology basics or more.  Keeping up the house, cooking, cleaning are important parts of my life, and in the midst of it all, I would like to try and take better care of myself in not only the beauty areas of hair, makeup and fitness, but also in trying to be fashionable as a career woman and mother.

Thanks for the consideration!

Review: Magic Town Girl's Leotard

**Disclosure: I received this product for a discount in exchange for a honest and unbiased review.**

I was offered this Magic Town leotard for my daughter and I quickly snatched up the opportunity.  Leotard for a growing ballerina - that is not something I can afford to miss!

So I received this leotard for my daughter and it was an instant hit.  First off, she was excited to get a new leotard for ballet.  Secondly, her current collection are basic ballet colors - so this bright blue (which is more teal or dark turquoise, in my opinion) was fabulous.

I bought a size 6-8 for my very tall 5 year old.  The leotard fits perfect. The fabric seems to be very flexible and I believe it will last her through a few more growth spurts.  The fabric is not the typical leotard fabric; instead it is more cotton based.  And it is not shiny.  It is soft to the touch, and more on the casual side for leotards.  I guess I would refer to the color as being more matte.

She was able to wear it and move around easily in it. I can even see it being a great choice for gymnastic classes as well.  I threw it in the washer and dryer and still looks and fits great.

Overall, she loved it.  And I loved it.  I feel like this is a great quality product that you will get many uses.
